Draft

One week from today , the NFL draft begins and all kinds of speculation of whom the Lions will draft is out there. From moving up in the draft to moving back in the draft, from cornerback to tight-end to OLB. Prospects have been shuffled in and out of Ford field as the big day gets closer..I personally think justin Gilbert is the pick followed by Bucannon , safety from Washington St. in the second…..This will fill the holes the Lions have had in the backfield forever…(the last time the Lions have drafted a corner was 1999, Dre Bly). What will the Lions do? One more week and all will be revealed…..

The last time I had a feeling like that, was……………the Lions were playing the N.Y.Jets at the Silver-dome., I had taken my family and Nieces, three of them to secretly turn them into Lion fans. Thankfully only one was created that day…….but Barry Sanders electrified the fans gaining 2,000 yards and insuring the Lions into the playoffs………

The Lions braintrust of Lewand,Mayhew, and Schwarts have made a mockery of the Detroit Lions.
Sure Free agents come to play here, (for the Money) and they try to follow orders of the Coaches, and lose,,,last count, last 7-8 games…
So Fact..The Lions are 24-42 with these assclowns…
They follow a plan that doesn’t work, or at least not yet.
The Fans of Detroit are Loyal to a fault.
The Lions could go 8-8 and the braintrust would consider that an upgrade ,(and keep their jobs)
The Lions have a draft guru, to take the blame if the draft turns uneventfull
On-eyed-willie (goonies) Willie clay, is a dreadful owner…..Scrooge like, when it comes to the Lions….
And a new slogan will be given soon to promote the Lions,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,any day now.

Happy new year die-hards.
You have not given up on the Lions…..(your sick)
Coach Schwartz has fired three assistants to make it look like he’s cleaning house as he sucks the asses of his co-ordinators,Linehan and Gunther.
A first time coach,(schwartz) must wonder what he has to do to be successful in the NFL…
He works for a money grubbing owner whose bottom line is “how much did we make this year”?
He hires good coaches, (some), but they find that turning the Lions into winners, is tougher than a two dollar steak.
After reaching the playoffs last year, the Lions turned into the three ring circus of clowns, going 4-12…
That is sad, as the owner has kept the inept coaching staff intacked..

If Goodhell was worried about protecting the Shield of the NFL, Willie has pissed and shit all over it for years, and there is nothing that he can say or do about it..
Willie, has an army of loyal fans giving away monies every season , with hope that their team can produce a winning product,and nearly every season they fail miserably..
This year was a ten, as far as stinky teams rate…..but the owner sits atop his mountain of money and laughs all the way to the bank….

Lions Praise

If you would want to heap praise on any Lion, coach,  G.M, or Owner, this is the place to do it.

 I for one cannot envision  any one on this team that needs praise right now……..

Coaching Blunders

Williams, the big Tackle will be out for weeks , after having surgery on his knee this week.

That leaves Hill Fairley and Suh to rotate the tackle spot.

Maybe the Lion Brainiacs should have kept Fluellen in the fold…..instead of the deadbeat corners who were later cut…..

Well ,that is our Lions, always guessing wrong, whether its taking the wind, or, trying to draw them offsides in over time…
